History

 

Certronic starts business in 1978 as the first supplier of dielectric materials in South America, with a team of chemical engineers specialized in ceramic capacitors.
In 1980 Certronic is the main supplier of brazilian ceramic capacitor manufacturers: Thomson and TRW. In 1989 Certronic starts business with foreign customers doing first exportation to Asia. During 1994 Certronic stablishes a commercial and technical agreement with Tam Ceramics, USA producing titanates to them as per their specifications. In 1995 the new equipment Spray drier allows to Certronic sells pressable powder, that means, the ceramic compositions are dried with organic binder - polyvinyl alcohol. In 1996 Certronic starts exportation to Europe (UK, France and Germany). In 1997 Certronic develops a new product range to weld rod market, the sodium and potassium titanate to improve welding fluxes.

 

Raw material:

 

Certronic looks for raw materials supplier around the world, in order to keep high performance with price as low as possible. Our main suppliers are: Kermira, USA - titanium oxide. Solvay Barium Strontium, Germany - barium and strontium carbonate Rhone Poulenc, France - neodymium carbonate.

 

Customized products:

 

Since each customer has its own specification and needs, Certronic understands that besides standard products, we should offer also customized titanates :
- stoechiometry, purity, particle size, pre-dopping, etc. and we can modify standard compositions in order to meet customer requirements. Furthermore, Certronic is always creating new products and compositions with the existing research and development laboratory.

Certronic can produce standard or customized lots ranging from 50Kg to 5000Kg with its equipments such as :

Each production step is monitored and powder characteristics and electrical properties are controlled by laboratory with following equipments :
